November 24, 1960 - December 5, 2020
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear son and brother, John de Leyer, Jr., on December 5, 2020 at the age of 60 years.
John was predeceased by his father, John de Leyer, Sr. in 2018.
He is sadly missed by his mother, Loes de Leyer; siblings Maria Van Velzen (Pete), Britta de Leyer (Doug Standing), Carol Haarsma (Dave), Henry de Leyer (Hilda Van Haren), Michele de Leyer (Dan Gravel) and many nieces and nephews.
John is fondly remembered for his laughs and smiles, particularly towards his Mom when she came to visit him and push him in his wheelchair around Barrhead.
The family would like to thank Blue Heron Support Services Association and Dr. E. de Waal for the many years of support, dedication and care provided to John.
Due to Covid restrictions, a small family service will be held.
