Albert Bury
It is with deep sadness, although with gratitude for a life well-lived, that we announce the passing of Albert Bury, of Athabasca Alberta, on September 30, 2023.
Dad will be dearly missed by his loving family; wife Mary; children Walter (Wanda), Valen (Gloria) and Carolyn (Steven); grandchildren Kodi (Terri), Kendall (Carleane), Larissa, Katherine (Denis) and Kristine (Colin); along with great-grandchildren Evan, Eli, Hannah, Kaitlyn, Madison, Braelyn, Jase, Renleigh, Ty, Isabelle, Lana, Livie and Laurel.
He was survived by his brothers Frank (Lorna), Tom (Leona) and Edwin (Suzanne); sisters Lily (Ray) and Helen (Buddy); brother-in-law Orest; sister-in-laws Jennie and Minnie; many nephews-nieces and their extended families.
Dad was predeceased by his parents, in-laws, six brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law.
A private family service was held. We express our heartfelt thanks to all the relatives, neighbours and friends for their love and support during this time.
For those who desire, a memorial donation (in lieu of other tributes) may be made directly to Athabasca Health-Care Auxiliary Association; or to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation; or to the charity of choice.
