BRINTON, Harvey Charlton
(May 13, 1933 – March 30, 2025) - 91 yrs
Harvey is survived by his wife Betty Brinton (Sterling) of 60 years; 4 children: Dan (Ute), Susan (Brad), Jeff and Matthew: 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; 8 Brothers in Law: Aubrey (Diane), Keith, Harvey (Faye), Roy (Wendy), Charles, Brent (Evelyn), Milton (Joyce), Ivan (Theresa); 3 Sisters in Law:Vera (Doug),Joan (Ken),and Bertha (Bernie); as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, other relatives and numerous lifelong close friends.
He was predeceased by his siblings: Mildred, Bud, Howdy and Dorothy.
Born in 1933, Harvey grew up on a farm in Hussar, AB. He then moved to Calgary to work for CP Railways until moving to Clyde to sell insurance with PG Davies. In 1963, it was in Clyde where Harvey met his lifelong dance partner Betty. In 1971, Harvey and family moved to Edmonton where he pursued his real estate appraisal career. Harvey and Betty retired in 1991 to Clover Valley Acres where Harvey enjoyed immensely his return to farming. The conclusion to farming had Harvey and Betty move into Westlock.
Harvey was a very proud, determined man – always willing to lend a hand. His jubilant laughter, thoughtful insight and wonderful conversational ways endeared the hearts of many. His deep love for his family is evident in all the lives that he touched.
Harvey’s celebration of life will be held later.
