The following cases were heard before Judge M. Baldwin in Meadow Lake court on Feb. 27.
- Terraance L. Lasas appeared via CCTV on numerous weapons charges. The case was adjourned until March 1 for a show cause hearing.
- Jennifer Sinclair appeared on weapon offences. Her case was adjourned until March 30 to speak to.
- Christopher Roy, 46, appeared via CCTV. He was sentenced to 100 hours of community service after the crown prosecutor and defence entered a joint submission and agreed statement of facts.
The court heard that on Dec. 15, 2019, Roy altered a cheque from $25.70 to $3,350 and changed the payee.
Roy was also ordered to pay restitution for the full amount of the cheque to the business where he cashed the cheque. In addition, he was given 12 months of probation.
