It has been a long couple of months for kids like three-year-old Mason Czwil. So much so, that when he heard the playgrounds in Athabasca were officially reopened May 22, he made the trip with his mom from Colinton the next morning just to get his fill of climbing, sliding, running and playing. While parks and playgrounds may now be open, Alberta Health Services still advises hygiene, social distancing and gathering recommendations be followed by everyone.
