Barrhead Regional Fire Services firefighters are at the scene of a large grass fire about 10 minutes south of Barrhead on Range Road 41. So far no details are known about how it started or if any outbuildings or vehicles were damaged. The Town of Barrhead also notes that residents might notice discoloured water for a time as the fire department is accessing the town's water system through the hydrants to fight the fire.
