Every December the Westlock News asks area schools to submit the letters their students write to Santa — this year the letters appeared in the Dec. 13 and 20 print editions. Here’s a sampling of what they wrote.

Dear Santa,
How are your reindeer doing? How are your elves doing? Are they working hard on the toys? How is Mrs. Claus doing? Is she making cookies for you when you get back from delivering presents to the good girls and boys?
What I want for Christmas is a Lego set, toothbrush and toothpaste. Can you please get me a nice sweater and a nice Transformer? My sisters would like a big Moana Lego set. My little sister would like an Elsa and Anna toy.

How are your reindeer doing? Is Rudloph being good? How shiny and read is his nose? How is Mrs. Claus doing? Thank you for the Nintendo case which is a Pop-It, my mouth dropped when I saw it. I am grateful for everything I get, it does not matter what I get. All I care about is I’m really lucky I have presents and I get Christmas with my family.
