Rocky Mountain captain Ashley Williams notched the game- and series-winning goal, an even strength tally in the second period.

Red Deer took Game 2 by a 4-3 score. Charlotte Hallam had two goals for the Raiders in the loss with Taylor Baehl adding the other marker.

In the series opener, Rocky Mountain mounted a three-goal third period surge on goals from Sarah Grummett, Violet Crawford and Kamryn Kutzner to earn the 3-2 win.
