Simple doesn't mean it isn't tasty. Here's a favourite from Great West Newspapers media sales specialist Sherry Banks. You know the whole family will love it.

Cheeseburger Pie

1 lb. lean ground beef

1 large onion

1 tsp seasoned salt

1 tsp garlic powder

a couple dashes of Worcestershire Sauce

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (I use mixed cheddar and mozzarella or TexMex)

1 cup milk

1/2 cup of original Bisquick Mix

2 eggs

Method:

Heat oven to 400. Spray 9-inch pie plate with non-stick cooking spray. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet. Drain excess fat. Stir in salt, garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce. Spread in pie plate. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of beef. In a small bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs and Bisquick. Make sure you try to get as many lumps out as you can. Pour over the meat mixture. Bake in oven for 25 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.
