It is unknown if a COVID-19 outbreak at a Northern Alberta hospital has ended

As of the last AHS update on Aug. 27, 16 patients have tested positive and seven healthcare workers tested positive at the St. Therese – St. Paul Healthcare Centre.

ST. PAUL – On Aug. 18, Alberta Health Services (AHS) declared an acute care COVID-19 outbreak at the St. Therese – St. Paul Healthcare Centre. 

As of the last AHS update on Aug. 27, 16 patients have tested positive and seven healthcare workers tested positive.

Lakeland Today reached out to the AHS for more information regarding an outbreak impact on services and appointments, and if measures are being taken to ensure there is enough staff coverage.
