It was another tough weekend for Barrhead's top U18 team, the Steelers, as they came up on the wrong end of a pair of games on the Jan. 10 and 11 weekend.
In the first game, a road matchup against the Edson Octane, Barrhead lost a close 5-4 affair before being downed by the Vermillion Tigers 6-3.
Barrhead's next game will be on the road against Athabasca on Friday, Jan. 17. Their next home game will be Jan. 31 against Edson.
