The Barrhead Ladies Bowling League meets weekly on Wednesday afternoons to bowl, cheer each other on, make jokes and have a laugh.
Some of these ladies have been playing in this bowling league for 44 years according to Elsie Reitsma.
They are a positive, light-spirited group that support each other doing their best.
Don't ask these ladies about their scores, they protect those numbers.
"It's about having fun," said Leslie Penny.
The Blue Heron Bowl celebrated its 45 anniversary in 2024.
