The Barrhead Composite High School grade 12 Senior Girls Volleyball girls handed over their donation money to the oncology department.
They raised the funds at their home Volleyball tournament in October. Dana Donkers and Mariam Greilach came up with this idea and the whole team got behind it.
They set up a table on Saturday and had $1009.05 donations brought in. Other teams were encouraged to wear pink in support of people fighting breast cancer.
This will now be a tradition going forward with the graduating members of the Senior team getting to hand over the money to the hospital.
