ATHABASCA — A Tuesday evening main break has interrupted water services to residents on the East Hill in Athabasca.

The Town of Athabasca announced the line break on their social media and advisory channels around 7 p.m. May 14. Repair work will begin Wednesday, and water services are expected to be restored by 9 p.m. May 15, but timing may vary.

Traffic on 42 Street will be restricted as crews and equipment complete repair work. Residents are advised to flush cold water faucets after service is restored to clear any discolouration.

Updates on the repair work can be found on the town’s social media and advisory channels and TownandCountryToday.com.
