A great Canadian was honoured at local schools last week as Terry Fox Run events were held throughout the community. Local students learned about the heroic young man and his 'Marathon of Hope', and then raised money in support of cancer research. Finally, they got active, hitting the streets, trails and fields to show their support for the cause. Whispering Hills Primary School student Jasper Galloway leads the way during his school's walk around the community.
