The second annual Relay For Life in Athabasca last Friday brought cancer survivors together with friends, family and supporters to celebrate their victory over the disease while at the same time honouring the memories of those who have passed away. It also raised close to $50,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society. Danielle Wiart of the Purple With A Purpose team shows her support in the fight against cancer. The Purple team raised the most money as a team for the event.
