On Feb. 4 in Athabasca Provincial Court, Andrew Dwayne Lysohirka pleaded guilty to four charges surrounding theft over and under $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000 and unlawful possession of a firearm. Lysohirka was credited for his seven months of time served and sentenced to 12 months probation.

On June 24, 2013, Athabasca RCMP searched a home in the Perryvale area where Lysohirka was living at the time. Upon entering, they found a shotgun on the kitchen table. Insurance documents pertaining to a snowmobile and other snowmobile equipment, reported stolen earlier in 2013, were found elsewhere in the home. Lysohirka was not on the property at the time of the search but turned himself in to RCMP the next day. After his arrest, Lysohirka was also charged in relation to a separate incident involving a stolen dirt bike.

Two other individuals were arrested in connection to the June 24 property search: Kristie Lee Zehner and Gary William Fornahl-Bogden.

Lysohirka is to report to RCMP any change of address, employment and phone number, and is to inform them of his whereabouts by telephone every two weeks.
