GALLERY: Smoky Lake's 2024 Great White North Pumpkin Fest

From babies in giant pumpkins to exploding gourds, the 2024 Smoky Lake Pumpkin Fair had intrigue for everyone.

Visitors from around the region came out to Smokey Lake to celebrate the 2024 Great White North Pumpkin Weigh-Off and Fair. 

Don Crews from Lloydminster had the largest pumpkin, bringing in a gourd that weighed 2,137 pounds.

Onlookers came out to enjoy a live pumpkin carving and a pumpkin drop, where big pumpkins are dropped from cranes onto cars.
