CALLING LAKE - The Athabasca RCMP are asking members of the public to avoid parts of Calling Lake while officers respond to a weapons complaint.
According to a 2:40 p.m. Sept. 8 release, the incident is contained and there is no immediate risk to the public at that time.
For public and police safety, the RCMP ask that photos not be posted of the incident on social media until it has been resolved.
An update will be sent later when more information is available.
