BOYLE — The Boyle Healthcare Centre will be closing its emergency department at 4 p.m. July 11 until 9 a.m. July 12 due to a shortage of registered nurse availability.
AHS announced the temporary closure in a 3 p.m. release, sent out again by Athabasca County on its alert notification system.
Boyle’s emergency department remains closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. EMS will remain available and will work with surrounding healthcare centres to ensure emergency services are accessible.
This disruption may be cancelled if coverage is found.
