ATHABASCA – Athabasca residents and businesses — including the Save On Foods — will be impacted by a temporary power outage that will run until evening.
According to a notice issued by the town, 49 Street will be without power for the next six-to-seven hours while a crew works to repair a damaged power pole.
Work will begin between 1and 2 p.m., and is expected to last until after sundown.
During the repair, 49 Avenue will be closed to traffic between 48 and 49 Street.
