ATHABASCA – The Athabasca RCMP are hoping the public can help identify a would-be armed robber.
According to a June 6 release, just after midnight on May 25 the male suspect wielding a knife approached a woman in the area of the Colinton Hotel, in the hamlet of Colinton. After telling the woman to give him her stuff, the victim deployed a self-defence spray, and was able to run to her car and leave the area.
The suspect is described as:
- Pale-Medium complexion;
- Approx. 6 feet tall;
- Approx. 190lbs;
- Late 30s, early 40s;
- Short brown wavy hair;
- Dark facial hair; and
- Last seen wearing a black hoodie, black sweatpants and black sneakers.
