Woman in serious condition after e-bike accident in Banff

BANFF – A woman is in hospital in critical but stable condition after suffering from injuries sustained in an e-bike accident in Banff National Park on Saturday (June 22).

STARS air ambulance responded to the incident in the Banff area at 1 p.m. and flew the woman in her 60s to Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary.

“One adult patient was transported to a Calgary hospital in critical but stable condition,” said Patrick Burles, spokesperson for Alberta Health Services, in an email.
