SUNDRE - A former volunteer board member with the Sundre Minor Hockey Association (SMHA) facing sex charges allegedly involving four male teenagers has pleaded not guilty to all counts, court officials said.

The pleas were entered in Didsbury Court of Justice on July 22.

On April 5, Alexa Suitor, 33, was arrested and charged with sexual interference, sexual assault, and four counts of making sexual explicit material available to a child.

Suitor’s trial has been set for Calgary Court of Justice from June 23 to June 26.

None of the alleged victims can be identified and the charges have not been proven in court.

Shortly after Suitor’s arrest, the SMHA issued a release stating that while the woman was a volunteer with the association, she was “not a coach, manager or otherwise directly involved in the delivery of hockey programming to the kids of the association.”
