Hi, my name is Archer. I am 4-5 months old and have been in my foster home for 2 weeks now. I am a bit nervous so will need another dog in the house to show me the ropes. I have been all vetted and am now ready to find my forever family. I do have a slight heart murmur but I should be able to live a happy normal life. I love people once I learn that they are my friend. I have not met many children but should do okay if they know to let me come to them. If my foster mom sits on the floor I will crawl into her lap for a snuggle. I am very sweet, but I love to bark. I will bark at the cats, I will bark at the dog in my foster home and I will bark at 4 a.m. My foster mom is teaching me that this is not okay, but it will take some time. I like to chase toys, and chew. I am learning to walk on a leash and sleep in my crate. I need some guidance and I should go to an experienced home that is willing to work with me to help me be the best boy I can be. It looks like I will be a medium sized boy, but with rescue there are no guarantees. I will need a home that can keep me mentally and physically stimulated. I will do best in a home with a canine sister to show me the ropes. My foster mom calls me Velcro, as I like to be everywhere she is. When she does not play with me I will steal her socks and shoes and make her chase me.
