Town and Country Today, in partnership with Second Chance Animal Rescue Society, brings you this feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Hello! My name is Randy. The 7 year old in the house calls me "Ran Ran, "Reindeer, Mom calls me "Red Randy (I guess cuz my collar is red?!). I live in a foster home with my littermate, Bubbles (also adoptable through SCARS), two human brothers (7 and 9 years old), an older canine sister and my foster parents. It took me about a week to settle in especially with the kiddos, but I'm into the groove of the routine now! I've got the most beautiful brindle legs and face. I came into SCARS with my Mom and siblings at about 3 months old. The SCARS folks say my Mom is medium sized. I'm definitely more chill and reserved than my sister, Bubbles but I absolutely love, love, love a belly rub and will flop over for anyone if I think I might get a scratch. I LOVE to be chewing on sticks outside or any of the chew toys in the house. My mom thinks I'm quite smart and by the way I cock my head from side to side when she talks to me, she's convinced I'm trying to understand her every word. Of course, I'm quite young and new to this whole house living thing, but am learning about the leash and potty training. I sleep at night in a crate with my sister and we are so quiet together. It may be because we are together, but either way I've had great practice, which should set me up for success in my forever home. Can't wait to meet you!
