Fred here, looking for my perfect match...let me tell you a bit about myself. A couple little quirks - SCARS staff suggests I should not be placed with another male dog. Also, I get a little uneasy by strange noises coming from speakers or see the tv come on. As much as I love being near my humans, I leave the room when they turn that noisebox on. So if you're hoping to have me lay at your feet while you watch the tv, it may be a slow learning curve for me.

Besides that, I am a happy-go-lucky guy. Although house life seems to be new to me, I am house trained. I go to the door and whimper when I need out. I'm also crate trained; foster mom gives me a little bedtime cookie and I happily go into my crate and sleep till morning. Toys are new and exciting. I don't quite know what to do with them but I love collecting them and sleep with two or three in my bed.

I am an outdoorsy kind of guy who loves to explore. When the weather is decent, I love being in the yard, and I absolutely love going for walks. I pull sometimes when my nose takes me to a particularly interesting tree but I am getting better at that with each walk I go on. Did I mention yet how much I love humans and the love and attention they give? My tail is constantly wagging and whenever I see my humans, I do a cute spinning, bouncy dance in front of them.

So if you're an outdoorsy person who would love to take a gentle, furry companion exploring and shower me with affection, please click that 'Adopt Me' button. Let's meet!
